CASE STUDY - Devonport RSL Club Beer Board Installation

In October of 2012, Tesuco were contacted by Mr. Andrew Barnes from Supagas, the gas supplier to the Devonport RSL Club.  We were asked to assist with an ongoing issue that the club was having with their CO2 draught beer system.

THE PROBLEM

Over a 2 year period the draught beer gas distribution system had been replaced on 3 separate occasions due to the failure of the regulator valve seats.  This failure caused the pressure relief valves to vent, resulting in heavy losses of CO2 and forced the management to close down their draught beer dispense system until the equipment was either repaired or replaced.

THE SOLUTION

The original manufacturer's beer gas distribution board was removed in October of 2012 and replaced with a Tesuco system.  The Tesuco CO2 gas board has been developed using extensive research, development and innovative components with special internal materials to ensure that it will continue to work under all conditions.

THE OUTCOME

We recently contacted the club's manager, Mr. Michael Stork and asked if they have had any issues since performing the remedial works and installing the Tesuco system.  Michael confirmed that there have been no further problems; the gas system is working perfectly with no loss of gas.  Devonport RSL patrons have been able to enjoy their favourite draught beer without disruption caused by the failure of the gas distribution system.
