PRODUCT LAUNCH - Nitrogen Purge Tools
When repairing refrigeration / air conditioning piping, the
internal area of the pipe should be purged with nitrogen to prevent
oxidation around the internal joint during the brazing process. The
Tesuco purge tools allow for a quick and easy positive seal for
many different pipe dimensions. A positive seal for the
nitrogen purge process reduces the amount of gas used and limits
any ingress of air during the repair.
The two tools in the twin pack are machined from aluminium and
combined they will seal pipe sizes from as small as 5 mm ID up to
29 mm ID. The inlet connection is ¼ SAE flare, so that hoses
commonly used in this industry will easily connect. They have large
knurled handgrips machined into the body for easier use. They are
priced economically and make a good addition to the tool kit
for use with the Tesuco disposable nitrogen cylinders.
