WHERE SHOULD I FIT FLASHBACK
ARRESTORS?
Optimum protection is achieved when flashback arrestors are
fitted to both oxygen and fuel gas hoses at the regulator outlet
and the inlet of the blowpipe. In fact, this configuration is a
requirement of AS4839 and legislation in some states.
If flashback arrestors are only fitted to the torch end, then no
protection is given to the cylinder supply and regulators in the
event that a flashback occurs upstream from the torch end
arrestors. This may occur as a result of damage to the hose or
through loose connections.
Flashback arrestors installed at the torch end provide
protection for the gas hose in the event of a flashback. By
quenching the flame and containing the pressure front via the non
return valve, unnecessary damage to the hose is avoided.
WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO ORDER THE CORRECT
REGULATOR?
Tesuco have a huge range of regulators available, suitable for
many applications. To assist us with ensuring that the correct
regulator is supplied for any given application the following
information is required:
- Type of Gas
- Purity of the Gas Supply
- Required Inlet and Outlet Pressure
- Single or Dual Stage Pressure Regulation
- Required Flow Rate, if available

regards to other installed equipment or required specifications
will enable us to supply the correct regulator for your
requirements.

All Tesuco products are covered by a 1 year limited warranty
against manufacturer's defect. Selected products are covered by a 5
year limited warranty. These warranties do not cover damage to
products through misuse or mishandling. For full warranty details

DO TESUCO PRODUCTS MEET AUSTRALIAN
STANDARDS?
Where Australian Standards exist detailing the design
specifications of equipment, Tesuco endeavours to ensure that all
of their products comply with Australian Standards. In the event
that Australian Standards do not exist, then we draw on
International Standards as the reference for equipment design.
